2016-17 MAEOP Board President
Hello, and welcome to MAEOP for 2017-18! I am Carol Schmitz, newly elected President of MAEOP.
I’ve been a MAEOP member since 2004 and have served as Treasurer, Central Area Director, and Chairperson of Ways and Means. In addition to serving on the MAEOP board, I also serve as Secretary of the Anoka-Hennepin Office Professionals Association and Secretary of the Oakwood Park Condo Association.
I’ve been employed at Anoka-Hennepin since 1993. I began in Accounts Payable, then moved to Communications Technology, and currently am the Data Management Secretary of the STEP (Secondary Technical Ed Program).
If you weren’t able to attend the conference in St. Cloud earlier this month, we hope you can join us next year in Duluth. Save the date for October 3-5, 2018 at Pier B Resort. It’s never too early to get your room booked. A one night deposit is required at the time of reservations for all room reservations. The cost is $129 per night plus tax.
